Welcome to the homepage Artcats, a site dedicated to Art and Cats.
We breed Bengals on a very small scale. Our cattery is called:
"Dolce e Macchiato"
Dolce e Macchiato's Li Wei is our new upcoming breeding queen. She is born October 15th, 2005 and is the daughter of Int. Ch. Brockenmoor Enchantress and Int. Ch. Timbavati Socrates of Boomkatz cattery. Her name Li Wei means "Beautiful Rose". She has a wild looking body and head, very dark markings and excellent contrast. She is glittered! We do expect a lot from this daughter of our outstanding Chandra.
Chandra was born September 25, 2001 and had her first litter in july 2003. The second litter was born in November 2004. Chandra is a beautiful rosetted female, with a great contrast and tiny spots on her frontlegs.
Chelsea, born December 17, 1998. Chelsea did get two litters (2000 en 2001). She won’t get new litters, but she was a perfect mother. Chelsea was our first Bengal and therefore has a very special place in our heart.
Lupo, Chelsea's son, a castrated male with an extreme loving character, born October 23, 2000. He is Chandra’s love of her life and he has taken care of all of her kittens.
Cattery Dolce e Macchiato is a small cattery in Sint- Pancras Noord-Holland.
We only have a litter once a year. The kittens grow up in our home and do get lots of attention of our family of five. We keep contact with the new owners of our kittens. Photos and emails are very much appreciated.
We are members of the Neocat association and we often show our Bengal cats and kittens.
We are also member of The International Bengal Cat Society and signed the "code of ethics".
We sell the kittens with a contract.

"Lively. athletic, captivating, gorgeous, exotic, mysterious, demanding, elegant, affectionate...
Bengal owners agree to disagree. Their cats share so many traits that ready agreement is easy on a list of "Bengal Adjectives". But try getting everyone to agree on exactly why the breed is what it is, and what precisely defines a Bengal, and one will soon learn there is hardly a "textbook" Bengal. Just when we think we know the breed, we are humbly reminded that each Bengal is an individual in the truest sense of the word-whatever that particular chosen word might be."
